Can I block off time in my calendar for days when I am out of office or for public holidays so that tours can't be booked?
Before you get started:
- Make sure to check if the calendar is 1. properly loaded on the client's location website and 2. Verify what user account the calendar is linked to.You can verify this by double-checking the embed link on the Venture X Google sheet provided here. Look for the name in the URL for example the booking link on Fairfax Book a Tour is: https://ashburn.venturex.com/meetings/lexiann?embed=true&parentHubspotUtk=8626cd220ae5765a5b73f44fb09fc890&parentPageUrl=https://venturex.com/locations/fairfax-mosaic-district/ - Lexianne is in the URL meaning it is linked to her HubSpot account.
- Next, access the client's user account in HubSpot from settings and navigate to the settings section once logged in as them. From there, go to the general settings and select the email and calendar option to verify if the connection to their Outlook account is active:

Once you have confirmed the steps mentioned above, you can now guide the client on how to block off a specific time slot or day in their Outlook calendar using the Time Off function. By doing this, their HubSpot calendar will sync with Outlook, preventing any tour bookings during the designated time period.
